This versatile, sun-loving perennial will add colour as well as structure to herbaceous borders and pots, but it also looks right at home in a prairie, gravel or wildlife-friendly setting. Their flattened flowerheads are a fab colour, starting off a rich terracotta, but fading to soft biscuit tones as they mature over the summer. Plant in well-drained soil in a sunny position.
